New Homes & Renovations

A HOME THAT FEELS RIGHT FOR YOU

Whether you're building from scratch, renovating or rethinking an existing home, good design starts with understanding how you want to live now and into the future.

Together we can look beyond the building itself, bringing together architecture, landscape and a holistic approach to design. The aim is to create a home that supports your wellbeing and reflects what matters most to you.

Homes can do more than provide shelter.

They can support our wellbeing, strengthen our connection with nature and help us live more thoughtfully.

From healthier materials and energy efficiency to productive gardens and alternative building methods, we can explore possibilities beyond conventional approaches to residential design always guided by your needs, your site and your priorities.

More than just a house

What could your project look like?

Every project is different. Together we can explore opportunities to:

Design for everyday wellbeing

Creating comfortable, healthy spaces that respond to your needs and lifestyle.

Make the most of what you have

Rethinking existing spaces, using land thoughtfully and avoiding unnecessary building where possible.

Connect home and landscape

Integrating outdoor living, planting and productive gardens from the early design stages.

Choose materials with care

Exploring natural, lower-impact and healthier materials suited to your project.

Rethink how we build and live

Exploring alternative building methods and ways to use energy and resources, with opportunities for greater self-sufficiency.

A DESIGN PROCESS DESIGNED AROUND YOU

Every project begins with a conversation about your ideas, your site and what's important to you. From there, we can explore the possibilities and establish an approach that suits your project, priorities and budget.

Process

Every project follows its own path, but the typical design process includes:

  • Initial meeting: discussing your ideas, priorities, site and budget.

  • Concept design: exploring possibilities and developing an overall design direction.

  • Developed design: refining the design, materials and details.

  • Resource consent: preparing and coordinating the design information needed for Council approval, where required.

  • Building consent: preparing the drawings and documentation needed for consent.

  • Further support: coordinating consultants and providing further support towards construction, as needed.

The process can be tailored to your project, whether you need help exploring an early idea or support through several stages of design.

Let's explore what's possible.

If you're thinking about building, renovating or making better use of your existing home, I'd love to hear what you have in mind.
